Job Summary
We are seeking to appoint a Chorister Singing Teacher at HM Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace. The successful candidate will be a specialist singing teacher with experience and understanding of teaching choristers or children with unchanged voices.
Job Description
To teach individual and small-group singing lessons to the boy choristers on Wednesday and Friday afternoon/early evening (1630-1830) during term-time
To lead a group vocal warmup in one weekly rehearsal with the choristers
To update the Director of Music about choristers’ progress and prepare written comments for reports
To lead singing workshops at the annual Be a Chorister for a Day event (Saturday)
To attend two chorister audition days per annum (Saturdays)
