Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Filmed Assessment & Musical Theatre Examiner Officer to join our Exams team.

Job Description

This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of two growing areas of the RAD’s examinations operation. You will act as the primary support contact for filmed examinations and Musical Theatre examiners, providing excellent customer service while ensuring examination processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with quality assurance requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the administration, monitoring and quality assurance of filmed assessments, while also coordinating support for our Musical Theatre examiners throughout recruitment, training and ongoing activity.

Working closely with colleagues across the Exams department and wider organisation, you will help ensure that candidates, teachers, examiners and international offices receive a professional and responsive service at every stage of the examinations process.

What we’re looking for
You will be an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Why work for us?
We are passionate about providing a positive workplace culture. Our accessible London (Wandsworth / Battersea) studios and offices are conveniently located, with facilities such as the Caf and Library onsite. We operate a hybrid working model, normally 3 days per week on site, and offer services to support flexible commuting e.g. cycling. For this role, engagement matters and it is for you to shape the best way to achieve that.

We offer 25 days paid holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays and a birthday day off, contributory pension scheme, access to the Perkbox discounts platform – including an Employee Assistance Programme, WeCare scheme, health cash plan, and life assurance.

All colleagues are required to promote and safeguard the welfare of children they are responsible for, or come into contact with, and to adhere to and ensure compliance with the RADs Safeguarding Policy at all times.

No agencies please.

Job Requirements

Due to the nature of the RAD’s work, the successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Applications which do not include a full employment history, and reference details will not be taken forward to the shortlisting stage.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and bring relevant documents if invited to attend an interview. We are unable to sponsor people under the Skilled Worker scheme.
