Job Description
We are looking for new trustees to join our board in a voluntary capacity and help guide the future of Community Focus. You do not need to have been a trustee before. We welcome people who care about creativity, community and inclusion, and who want to contribute skills, ideas and lived experience to support our work.
To bridge gaps, we are particularly interested in people with experience in:

fundraising and income development

finance and financial oversight
-
artistic practice or the creative industries
We strongly encourage applications from disabled and neurodivergent people and people from global majority backgrounds, as we want our governance to reflect the communities we serve.
Job Requirements
Our trustees help guide our strategy, ensure the charity is well run, and champion our mission.
Time commitment

4 board meetings per year, around 2 hours each (Zoom, with occasional in-person sessions)

Reading papers in advance (kept concise and accessible)

Occasional email or phone conversations if important matters arise

Optional: attending events, exhibitions and sharings.
A helpful guide is around 1-2 days per month, depending on involvement.
We provide a warm induction, access support and training where needed.
