Trustee (Legal and/or Property)

Registered charity CurvingRoad (trading as Theatre Deli) is seeking new Trustees, especially with legal and/or property experience.

Theatre Deli has been a driving force within the arts since 2008. Taking over empty spaces in city centres and creating 16 meanwhile-hubs to date, we support emerging artists, companies and communities whose identities, backgrounds, disciplines or work are underrepresented in theatre.

Currently operating in the City of London and Tower Hamlets, and with upcoming activity in Enfield, Theatre Deli works to develop diverse audiences and artistic communities by providing opportunities and environments for everyone to experiment with, develop, showcase and enjoy art. Last year, we paid over £42,000 directly to artists in fees and commissions and box office splits, and gave away over £64,000 worth of discounted and in-kind space. We support and invest in artists through residencies, drop-ins, festivals, co-productions, in-kind support and so much more.

As we approach new venue projects (both meanwhile-use and long-term) we now seek additional experience and expertise from individuals that can provide oversight on areas of law and/or commercial property.
