Job Description
We are looking for a wonderful part-time Art Tutor on a Freelance basis one day per week on Wednesdays, in person, for our 14-week courses in Waldringfield, nr Woodbridge. We are a vibrant and supportive environment fostering creativity and inclusivity among students of all skill levels. Seasons Art Class Ipswich & Woodbridge is an established branch part of The Seasons Art Class UK Ltd. We breaks for Easter, Summer & Christmas broadly in line with School main term times.
Freelance contract, £140 per day. Free parking. Casual Dress.
Job Requirements
You’ve worked in similar roles before and have strong experience in teaching or tutoring art to adult students. 5+ years
BA in Fine Arts, Art Education or related field. 3+ years
You are capable of producing good artwork in pencil, pastel, watercolour and acrylic paint and feel comfortable demonstrating your skills to groups of around 20 learners.
You are friendly and approachable and have great communication skills.
Patience and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Committed team player.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
