Job Description
New Media Art Club (NMAC) is a Leicester-based arts organisation supporting digital creativity through exhibitions, events, workshops, and publications.
We’re looking for three new non-executive board members to help us grow. We’re especially interested in people with experience in one or more of the following areas:
-Education and community outreach
-Audience engagement and public programming
-Curating and producing digital art projects
You don’t need previous board experience, just a passion for the arts and a willingness to contribute strategically. We particularly welcome applications from people currently underrepresented in the digital arts.
Commitment: Quarterly board meetings (in-person or online), be registered on Companies House as a Director for NMAC
Term: 3 years (July 2025-2028)
Location: Leicester and online

Job Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in education, critical engagement, or audience development.
- Knowledge of digital culture, technology, or contemporary art.
- Established networks within arts, creative industries, or cultural sectors.
Desirable:
- Curatorial, production, or commissioning experience in digital art projects.
- Familiarity with funding bodies such as Arts Council England or major cultural foundations.
- Background in arts education, public programming, or community engagement.
- Legal expertise in charity governance, intellectual property, or digital rights.
- Experience mentoring or supporting cultural organisations in their growth.
