Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality dance technique classes (e.g., ballet, jazz, contemporary) and musical theatre classes to a range of student levels.
  • Support the artistic and technical development of students in line with the College’s educational ethos.
  • Practice-based assessment support for students with specific learning differences (SpLDs).
  • Contribute to assessment, feedback, and student support processes.
  • Provide administrative support for the BA Dance and Musical Theatre programme, (e.g. setting up AV and IT, photocopying, printing).
  • Work collaboratively with the wider artistic and academic staff teams.
  • Engage in staff development opportunities, including gaining additional teaching qualifications.
  • Participate in College events such as auditions, performances, widening participation activities and open days.
