To support the Head of Finance to ensure the smooth running of the Society’s finances, taking responsibility for the purchasing and payments functions, preparing monthly payroll information and undertaking key reconciliations.

Job Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • To be responsible for the Purchase Ledger, ensuring that invoices and payments are recorded on a timely basis and in accordance with the Society’s financial procedures and regular reconciliations are performed.
  • Prepare the monthly payroll information on a timely basis, ready to pass to the payroll bureau. Working with closely with the Visitor Experience Manager and the Head of HR & Operations to ensure the payroll is accurate.
  • To be responsible for the accurate recording of all payments and receipts for the Bronte Society and its subsidiary and for the regular reconciliation of all bank accounts.
  • To work with the Head of Finance to ensure that cash flow is managed effectively for both entities and transfers between bank accounts and/or investments are made on a timely basis as and when required.
