Experienced Stage Manager – Little Snowy Hare

Little Snowy Hare is a magical new show for young children and their families, premiering at Tobacco Factory Theatres in Bristol this December.

We are looking for a calm, organised and collaborative Stage Manager who can support the company throughout rehearsals and confidently lead the production into the venue.

Responsibilities will include:
-Managing the rehearsal room and supporting the director and -creatives
-Creating and maintaining production schedules and paperwork
-Liaising with the creative team and Tobacco Factory Theatres (TFT)
-Managing props, costumes and other production elements
-Operating sound during rehearsals
-Supporting the fit-up and technical rehearsals
-Running or supporting the first performances
-Handing the operation over to the TFT technicians
-Helping maintain a safe, welcoming and well-organised working environment

About you
-Professional stage management experience
-Experience of rehearsals, fit-ups and technical weeks
-Excellent organisational and communication skills
-A practical, flexible and solutions-focused approach
-Experience using Q Lab
-Confidence working independently and as part of a small creative team
-Experience in children’s, family or touring theatre-desirable

Dates
Rehearsals: Monday 9-Friday 27 November
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.30am-5pm
Tech and first performances: Monday 30 November-Friday 4 December
All work will take place in Bristol.

Fee
£650 per week for four weeks (£2,600 total).
