Job Description
Minor Attractions is a week-long art fair experience hosted in The Mandrake Hotel inviting international galleries and not-for-profit art spaces to show their most daring artists and artwork, taking place from the 14-18th October 2025. Minor Attractions is designed as a space where art and nightlife meet, allowing the swells of international audiences to mingle with the art workers and artists that make the art world tick, creating a new context for London’s buzzing art scene.
During the week, there are so many different roles to get stuck into, from giving tours and providing directions, to handing out leaflets. We’re looking for people who can be a brilliant advocate for the Minor Attractions – a friendly face who’s willing to share their passion for visual arts with the public.
When?
Dates:
Tuesday 14th- Saturday 18th October
Hours 14th-17th 12-8pm
Sunday 18th October 12-6pm
Volunteer shifts:
14th October 12-4pm, 4-8pm
15th-18th 2-6pm

Code of Conduct
When you start volunteering with us, you will be given our code of conduct guidebook and be given a full induction before Minor Attractions 2025. There will also be a feedback session scheduled post fair.
Refreshments & snacks will be provided for all volunteers. If volunteers are working over 4 hours a meal up to £7 will be reimbursed. If you require assistance in transport costs, please contact us.

You will gain hands-on experience working in an art fair environment and strengthen your events knowledge through; crowd management, event set up, monitoring, invigilation and signposting. Be part of the team shaping the 3rd year of Minor Attractions. Meet like minded people and build connections with other volunteers, artists and international galleries, whilst contributing to and supporting our vision.
Previous experience in the arts or public facing roles is desired but not necessary.
