Creative Enabler – On Track R&D

On Track is Scott Peacock’s first major theatre project – a new immersive theatre piece blending live performance and film to tell an authentic story rooted in lived experience of disability, mental health and family dynamics. Influenced by film, video game storytelling and social commentary theatre, it explores how immersive techniques and cinematic language can deepen emotional connection while remaining genuinely accessible.
This Arts Council England-funded R&D (National Lottery Project Grants, June 2026 – March 2027) brings together artists, community participants and partners in Gloucester and Tewkesbury to explore story, form and access, laying foundations for a future full-scale production.
The project team includes associate producer Eleni Kyriacou, dramaturgical support from Derek Bond (Artistic Director, The Roses Theatre) and strategic business mentor Amy Dalton-Hardy.
The Creative Enabler is a core part of this team – not a support role sitting outside the creative work, but a presence that makes the work possible. This is a hybrid role: part access support, part creative collaborator, part community producer and admin right-hand, with the balance shifting depending on the day.
Contract: Freelance, £200 per day, 20 days across the project period (Oct 2026 – July 2027, may extend). Days vary in length and include studio sessions, community engagement and lighter-touch support (diary management, correspondence, coordination). Based in or around Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Worcester or the surrounding area – a full manual driving licence and own vehicle are required, as you’ll drive Scott to all sessions.
