Job Description
Director Angela Stone is returning to deliver a unique immersive theatrical experience for Halloween at William’s Den, East Yorkshire.
Now in it’s 5th year, we welcome visitors travelling from far and wide to enjoy the unique experience the Team at William’s Den have created to engage and delight families.
The Company Stage Manager will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the project and respond to the needs of the cast as required.
This is a fixed term engagement: 19th – 31st October 2026.
Fixed Fee: £1920
Daily Hours: 10:00-16:00 rehearsal week. 11:00-19:00 Tech.
10:30-19:30 (approx) during performance week. Avg. 8hrs per day. 2 x 1hr breaks scheduled for performance week (detailed breakdown supplied to prospective candidates).
Approx. £20/hr (equivalent: 100hrs across the project)
Hot meal provided daily on performance days.
Additional contact days will be paid to meet and greet cast for costume fittings and project planning meetings with Director and the Team at William’s Den.
Job Requirements
Experience of working in a similar environment.
Good communication skills.
Punctuality and attention to detail.
A willingness to be adaptable and to make decisions in the absence of the Director.
It’s worth noting that we generally clock up lots of steps during the project so physical fitness and a can do attitude will be a definite advantage!
Own transport is essential. This piece is site specific and not accessible by public transport.
