Job Description
A chaperone is required to join the Matilda The Musical team to assist in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children whilst in our care, making sure that they are properly supervised, have adequate meal breaks and sufficient rest and recreation.
All applicants must hold a current chaperone license. References required.
This position is offered as a part-time, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the hours are around 24 per week, but this can vary, fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Interviews are expected to take place at the end of w/c 23 February 2026

Job Requirements

A chaperone license issued by your Local Authority.

Experience of working with children aged 8-13 in a professional environment.

Experience of working on stage productions.

A good knowledge of standard safeguarding procedures.

A strong sense of teamwork.

Strong communication skills.

Diplomacy, discretion and tact.
