Job Description
We are looking for a number of passionate artist facilitators to deliver a series of creative workshops on our upcoming project, https://www.hungry2move.com/hungry-2-dance – Hungry 2 Dance.
Workshops will take place in dance training environments with groups of young dancers (aged 14-25) and will use various art forms to explore the relationship between dance and body image. All workshops will be supported by a member of the Hungry 2 Move team, in addition to a well-being specialist.
Artist Fee: £360 (minimum)
- 1 day of workshop planning- £150
- Workshop delivery – £150 (max 2 hour delivery time)
- Body Image Training (approx 1 hour online) – £60
- *Each additional workshop will be paid at a rate of £200
Job Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with and facilitating young people
- Sensitivity to the topic of body image and a commitment to youth wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS
- Public Liability Insurance
- Right to work in the UK
Workshops are primarily based in the Midlands, however we have expanded our work and are also looking for an artist based in or around Newcastle.
Must be available for at least 1 of the following confirmed workshop dates:
- 13th September
- 14th September (Newcastle)
- 3rd October
- 8th October
- (2 additional dates TBC)
