Board Member, Architect

St Gabriel’s Pimlico is embarking on a major capital project to secure, conserve, and reinterpret its Grade II* listed heritage for a wider and more diverse audience. We are seeking a heritage experienced Architect to join our Project Board, guiding conservation sensitive design and capital works throughout the Development Phase (2027-2028) and Delivery Phase (2029-2030).

You will advise on architectural vision, conservation approaches, accessibility, environmental sustainability, and statutory compliance. Working with fellow Board Members, consultants, and community partners, you will review drawings, specifications, surveys, and contractor proposals, offering constructive challenge and ensuring design integrity, feasibility, and alignment with NLHF expectations.

This voluntary role requires 4-6 hours per month and offers the chance to shape the future of a nationally significant heritage site, influencing how historic fabric is preserved, adapted, and opened to diverse communities.
