Lie Down and Listen (www.liedownandlisten.com) is a blissful sound healing and lying-down classical concert experience shared in awe-inspiring spaces across the UK, Ireland, and US. Founded by pianist Christina McMaster, we are expanding globally and seeking a right-hand partner to support our mission.
Role: Executive Assistant & Event Co-ordinator
Terms: Freelance / Part-Time (3 days/week, scope to increase)
Location: UK, Remote (quarterly Cotswolds visits)
Start: Sept 2026 | Pay: £200/day (£600/week)
Key Responsibilities
EA & Founder Support
Inbox & Diary: Manage the Founder’s inbox, prioritising enquiries and managing a busy calendar of meetings, travel, and events.
Liaison: Primary point of contact for artists, venues, partners, and high-profile guests.
Admin: Maintain digital files, track meeting action items, and keep workflows organised.
Event Co-ordination & Operations
Logistics: Secure venue bookings and draft contracts for performers, vendors, and local teams.
Scheduling: Create master timelines and production sheets for artists and venues.
Notion Systems: Maintain and refine event tracking systems in Notion for operational efficiency.
Team Lead: Recruit and manage local event staff, photographers, and volunteers across regions.
On-Site: Attend key events to handle live logistics and build partner relationships.
Your Experience
3+ years as a high-level EA, Project Manager, or Creative Event Co-ordinator.
Advanced proficiency in Notion (or similar project tools) to build workflows.
Flawless written communication and professional etiquette.
Basic Canva and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace skills.
Discreet, systems-orientated, and completely calm under live event pressure.
What Success Looks Like (3 Months)
Founder’s admin load is seamlessly managed.
Clear, organised Notion workflows are built and replicated across locations.
Contracts, bookings, and live logistics execute smoothly on timeline.
Job Requirements
3+ years as a high-level Executive Assistant (EA), Project Manager, or Creative Event Co-ordinator.
Advanced proficiency in Notion (or similar project management tools) to design and maintain workflows.
Flawless written communication skills and impeccable professional etiquette.
Tech-savvy with basic Canva skills (for quick asset tweaks) and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace proficiency.
High emotional intelligence; discreet and capable of handling sensitive artist and business relations.
Systems-orientated, solutions-focused, and completely calm under live event pressure.
