Job Summary
Job Description
Overall responsibility for planning strategy, facilitation and delivery of all online and offline marketing of academic courses.
Liaise with designer to ensure brand implementation, organisation of annual publications, management of online and offline advertising campaigns and regular social media postings.
Plan, manage and write content for the website and the advertising and launch of new courses or projects.
Develop internal and external relationships, networking with key professionals in order to promote the school to a wide range of audiences.
Handle all communications concerned with marketing or promotions, including press enquiries.
The website
Regularly monitor and update website content including pages, blog posts, and courses.
Develop and deliver an SEO (organic search) strategy, potentially in collaboration with external suppliers, to ensure that each page is optimised for search engines and
that the website ranks as high as possible for our relevant keywords.
Develop and deliver a paid digital advertising strategy, potentially in collaboration with external suppliers.
Online advertising
Implement annual online advertising campaigns that are timely, relevant and appropriate.
Deliver newsletter content and write copy.
Events
Initiate and organise opportunities to promote the school to the public, for instance school exhibitions and events such as the public lecture programme.
Manage the marketing and publicising of school exhibitions and events.
Maintain the marketing database. Monitor and update MailChimp contacts list.
Attend school events with attention to PR and networking.
Marketing Materials
Liaise with designer to maintain brand image and visual presence of school.
Working in conjunction with relevant administrative officers to oversee the design, creation and printing of course leaflets, posters, invitations and marketing items (tote bags, aprons, pens).
Social media management and content.
Job Requirements
Essential Experience
Recent experience of marketing, online and offline advertising.
Recent experience in the use of WordPress, WooCommerce and Google analytics.
Experience in IT systems including CMS and Databases.
Recent experience in working with members of the public.
Desirable Experience
Experience of working in the art world or in an educational setting.
Familiarity with MailChimp, Google Ads and Facebook Advertising.
