Job Summary

Bill Kenwright Ltd is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Marketing Manager based at our head office in London Paddington, to lead on assigned projects and to support delivery of all production marketing campaigns across the UK, West End and international productions.

Job Description

  • The Marketing Manager will lead on all aspects of marketing on assigned productions acting as the main contact internally and with touring venue teams with responsibility for devising and coordinating effective and imaginative campaigns to deliver strong box office results.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing, Sales & Ticketing, to coordinate marketing campaigns for musicals and plays across the UK and worldwide, delivering effective campaigns in partnership with venues and external agencies.
  • To support audience development strategies across all existing and new productions.
  • To function as a key point of contact for venue marketing and communications departments, working with external marketing agencies, external ticketing partners and press representatives on each production, delivering smooth and effective coordinated campaigns across all productions.

Job Requirements

Essential:

Experience of working on highly effective marketing campaigns that utilize the full mix of marketing and communication channels, in the performing arts industry.

Experience of collaborating with other people on artwork and image concept development, copywriting and branding.

Tact and skill in dealing with venues, with experience of handling conflict resolution, motivating teams and coordinating activity across multiple venues.

A solid foundation and understanding of digital media, social media, web-presence and SEO.

Good attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good IT skills.

Proven understanding of commercial viability, including budgeting and profit & Loss

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

Desirable:

Demonstrable understanding of audience development strategies, data segmentation and analysis.

Experience and understanding of ticketing systems, partner agencies and CRM marketing databases.
