Job Description
Setting fees annually with the CEO/Principal.
Arranging course dates with all tutors, notifying the Associate Dean, Studio Bookings and Facilities.
Communicating effectively with students according to structured timelines – introduce course to all students, coordinate registration form submission, and support with ISTD bursary applications
Managing, liaising and meeting with all ISTD and DDE tutors, such as to arrange dates for classes and exams, or discuss specific units.
Communicating with key stakeholders and respond to emails and queries within agreed timelines; includes timely communication with relevant BIRD teams
Managing and completing administrative duties with rigorous attention to detail, organisation and timelines, including booking of studios, liaising with Bird Accounts regarding invoices, registration of students (management of forms, use of ISTD DDE portal Parnassus) and posting of ISTD certificates.
Arranging and managing examination planning and administration, including scheduling of dates, communication with examiners, invoicing procedures, and collation of results for exams and unit submissions from relevant portals.
Allocating and setting up meetings with tutors and relevant students or graduates for completion of the DDE qualification, specifically units 2 and 5.
Assisting in finding and securing Unit 2 placements for present students and graduates.
Maintaining and developing a personal profile in relation to the post held
Complying with BIRD’s pastoral procedures and practices – if necessary setting up meetings with students about, for example, attendance or readiness for exams.
Complying with BIRD’s quality assurance procedure and practices
Implementing all aspects as appropriate of relevant Conservatoire policies, including, but not limited to, Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) Policy, Safeguarding, Health and Safety Policy, Information Technology Policy
