Job Description
The Client Service Manager, Registrars, leads the team responsible for owning and delivering the post sale client experience, ensuring that every interaction is seamless, proactive, and aligned to the organisation’s service standards.
They are accountable for setting service expectations, managing operational performance, coaching the Client Registrar team, and partnering cross functionally to improve workflows, compliance, communication and client satisfaction.
This role plays a pivotal part in shaping a scalable, globally aligned service model and acts as a key link between Sales, Curatorial, Operations and other senior stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Skills & Experience
Essential
Extensive experience in Registrar, logistics, client service or service operations in a gallery, museum or art handling environment.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong knowledge of post sale workflows, shipping/logistics, customs, insurance and artwork handling.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills across all levels.
Confident decision maker, especially in complex or high stakes scenarios.
Strong organisational and workload management skills, with a track record of improving processes and service outcomes.
Familiarity with workflow/case management tools and reporting systems.
Knowledge of compliance, tax governance and risk management in the art market.
Exposure to service design, training development or change management.
