Job Summary

Artelier is an art advisory company sourcing, commissioning and curating artworks for a range of international projects. We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring art technician to join our supportive team for Bristol based projects on a freelance basis.

Job Description

Freelance contract, based in Bristol or London.

Working hours are 9am-5pm with a half hour break. The role will be on an ad-hoc basis. Typically 2 days per month, but opportunity for this to increase.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience
10 years of operational or manual work experience in art, interiors or similar industry.
Highly proficient in Microsoft software packages including word and excel, and email applications.
Excellent general IT and software skills, and quick to learn new software and features.
Excellent communication skills essential for duties such as note taking and giving task updates.
Friendly, conscientious, uses own initiative, can organise and prioritise own workload.

Desirable
Access to a van for UK-based deliveries.
Experience with ordering crates, booking shipments – UK-based, Europe and international with couriers such as DHL as well as air/ road/ sea freight.
Access to a van for UK-based deliveries.
Willingness to travel within UK and to global sites
Supervise the installation of artworks on-site.
