Job Summary
Job Description
You will work closely with the Baccanalia Production Team, operating with day-to-day autonomy while aligning with wider event logistics, visitor experience and agreed financial parameters. The role includes responsibility for both operational delivery and commercial performance, with an expectation to take ownership of issues and resolve them independently where possible.
We operate a converted horsebox trailer bar, towed to event sites. The mobile bar is fully fitted and externally presentable, with internal service space including a sink, lighting, two-tap Lindr dispensing system, fridge, and cupboard storage. The mobile bar operates via a generator connected to the onboard mains system.
£200 per event day. Expected one event day per week (typically 9 Hours)
Job Requirements
You will be an experienced bar professional who is comfortable taking ownership of a mobile bar operation within a live events environment. You are practical, organised and confident working independently, while collaborating closely with a wider production team. You are comfortable taking ownership without close supervision and can operate calmly in a live-event environment.
You will bring:
Experience leading bar operations
Understanding of stock management, forecasting and waste reduction
Confidence supervising staff and setting clear expectations during service
A practical, solutions-focused approach to logistics, maintenance and problem-solving
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service, age verification and service refusal procedures.
Freelance role, with work aligned to scheduled events
Event days are typically around 9 hours, depending on location and event requirements. Some longer days may be required where events involve extended trading or travel.
How to Apply
Please send your CV and cover letter to [email protected]. Interviews will be offered on a rolling basis to strong applicants. A full UK driving licence is required. Confidence in towing a trailer is expected, or a willingness to become competent quickly. An SIA or Personal Licence is beneficial but not essential. Applications close at 23:59pm on 13/04/2026.
