Job Summary

We’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on leader to help shape AudioActive’s next phase of growth, building the partnerships and income streams that power our work with young people. The role is a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract. The role is part time working 30 hours per week.

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced, proactive fundraiser who can think strategically and deliver hands-on – someone confident writing bids, building partnerships and spotting opportunities for growth. This is a key role at a pivotal moment for AudioActive, offering the chance to build on strong foundations and shape a more diverse, sustainable income model that supports our work with young people.

What you’ll do
Lead and deliver AudioActive’s fundraising and development strategy
Grow income across trusts & foundations, tenders, contracts and partnerships
Write high-quality bids, proposals and pitches
Develop new business partnerships aligned with our mission
Build strong relationships with funders, partners and supporters
Work closely with the CEO and team to align income with programmes
Track performance, manage targets and identify new opportunities

Job Requirements

Essential experience and knowledge
A strong track record of securing income in a charity, arts, youth, cultural or community context.
Demonstrable success in securing five and six figure income through tenders, commissions and business partnerships.
Experience of developing and delivering fundraising plans and meeting income targets.
Experience of building and stewarding strong external relationships
Experience working both strategically and hands-on.
Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the Code of Fundraising Practice and GDPR.
Essential skills and abilities
Strong strategic thinking, with a practical and delivery-focused approach.
Excellent writing and communication skills,
Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
Strong planning, judgement and problem-solving skills,
