Job Summary

Leicester Square Theatre and Museum of Comedy are seeking a Deputy Technical Manager to support all technical operations across our vibrant central London venues. This is an exciting opportunity to progress in a fast-paced entertainment environment, working with top comedians and productions.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Operate shows, including sound, lighting, and AV setups.
Maintain all technical equipment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Deputise for the Technical Manager, including staff supervision and decision-making in their absence.
Handle get-ins, get-outs, and daily venue maintenance.

Requirements:
At least 3 years’ experience in theatre/technical production, with strong knowledge of sound, lighting, and AV systems.
Excellent communication skills (in person and via email) for liaising with performers, crews, and management.
Proven multitasking abilities, efficiency under pressure, and prioritisation skills.
Eye for detail and a versatile, hands-on approach.

Hours: 40 per week, including evenings and weekends.
