General Manager

To ensure that all aspects of Westhope Craft College are managed to the highest possible standard, overseeing the smooth running of all activities whilst also holding responsibility for the upkeep of the building and facilities. This role is key to providing a welcoming, supportive and hospitable environment for students, guests and visitors who arrive for day courses, accredited courses and residential bookings. The post will manage the City & Guilds Course Co-Ordinator, Workshop Co-Ordinator, Bookkeeper, Catering Manager, Maintenance and IT Co-Ordinator, Gardener and Housekeeper. It reports to the Board of Trustees of the Anne Dyer Foundation of which Westhope College is a part.

Westhope Craft College is run by a team of seven staff supported by the General Manager, who manage the college, its buildings and grounds and host Westhope’s courses. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and management skills for this fulfilling and vital role of General Manager.
