About the Role
Culture Leicestershire encompasses Leicestershire County Council’s Library, Collections and Learning, Heritage and Cultural Participation services.

We are a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO), supporting the delivery of the County Council’s strategic outcomes and Arts Council England’s Let’s Create strategy.
This role primarily involves overseeing the participation projects across our library network whilst also being responsible for our Culture To you and Home Library Services. We are therefore seeking a flexible person who, through our dedicated teams, can navigate our exciting community co-created projects and programmes to achieve high quality outcomes for all our participants and audiences. In this role knowledge of cultural participation as a key tool for community engagement will be crucial.

Job Requirements
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Have a degree, or equivalent level qualification or demonstrable experience of the items listed
- Experience of leading, developing and planning cultural programmes
- A high level of knowledge around community engagement good practice, policy and procedures
- Experience of direct working with community groups
- Experience of working with diverse range of partners to develop and deliver shared outcomes
- Experience of managing a budget
- Experience of managing a team
