This position is a part-time, on-site role for the Youth Academy Manager at Eloquent Dance, situated in the West Midlands. The chosen candidate will oversee the daily operations of the academy, supervise the front of the house, manage the freelance teaching staff and much more.
Ideal for a spirited, approachable, dedicated individual with a keen desire for personal and professional growth, this role is perfectly suited for a performing arts professional aiming to transition into the administrative aspects of running a performing arts academy.
Job Requirements
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our youth dance classes, ensuring high-quality dance education and a nurturing environment for students.
- Develop and implement curriculum in collaboration with dance instructors, tailored to various age groups and skill levels, incorporating outreach initiatives to engage underrepresented communities and broaden our academy’s reach.
- Coordinate class schedules, teacher assignments, and student enrolments, including outreach programmes.
- Organise events, shows, and competitions, promoting the academy’s talent and achievements, while also leveraging these opportunities for community outreach to increase visibility and support for our programmes.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents, ensuring they are fully integrated and supported within our programmes.
