RNCM is a leading international conservatoire with a reputation for excellence in preparing young musicians for a life-long career in the music profession. The College attracts some of the most talented students and teachers from around the world and delivers an innovative curriculum and excellent student experience within some of the finest teaching, rehearsal and performance facilities available.

RNCM Young Strings provides musical training to young people between the ages of 5 and 8 years in a caring and supportive environment on Saturdays during term time. We are currently looking for a Double Bass Tutor, beginning September 2025. The role includes teaching regular small group double bass lessons on Saturdays, 9.00 – 11.00am. Saturday classes take place at Manchester High School for Girls. Tutors will need to be familiar with approaches which integrate musicianship with instrumental teaching.
