Wigs Deputy – Waitress UK and Ireland Tour

The Deputy Wigs assists the Head of Wigs with the preparation and maintenance of all wigs and the smooth running of the wigs department.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To assist with all aspects of the planning, supervision and maintenance of all wigs in each venue.
2. To assist in the preparation and update the wigs bible.
3. To assist with the supervision of the touring wigs staff and local venue casual staff.
4. To assist with cast makeup as required.
5. To ensure all wigs are cleaned daily and in working order for each performance.
6. To assists Head of Wigs regarding daily cast changes and prepare wigs changes accordingly.
7. To assist the Head of Wigs in ensuring all equipment is unpacked and prepared at each venue of the tour.
8. To assist the Head of Wigs in coordinating the get-out of wigs equipment at each venue, and in preparing equipment ready for loading at the end of the run.
9. Attend production meetings, rehearsals, calls and performances as required.
10. Deputise in Head of Wigs’ absence.
11. Adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines of the Company.
12. Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Producers from time to time.
