Job Summary

To support the ongoing Matilda The Musical UK & Ireland Tour, we are looking for an experienced Wigs Assistant to join us from August 2026 until January 2027.

Job Description

The Wigs Assistant will ensure the production runs smoothly and consistently throughout the tour, adapting to challenges whilst maintaining the show’s original artistic vision.

Job Requirements

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:

Strong hairdressing, wigs and make-up skills.
Understanding and practical knowledge of the principles and safe working practices of all areas of wigs and make-up.
Excellent communication skills.
Good organisational skills.
An understanding of other theatre departments and resident creative team.
