Job Description
‘We are still Asafo’, written and directed by Liz Mytton, creative director at TIF, is a theatre show performing at Loading Bay, a temporary black box theatre, as part of Bradford 2025. This new show draws inspiration from the experiences of the African diaspora across West Africa, the Caribbean, and the UK. Utilising Ghanaian flag-making traditions and rituals, the performance honours the journeys of our communities and our shared ancestral connections, exploring how these links can offer guidance in our present times.
You will work closely with our Designer, Ruby Pugh, to realise and program the final lighting design.
Total fee: £1200
Timeline: Sept to November 2025
This works out as a day rate of £240x5days
You must be available for:
Lighting programming on site at tech rehearsal
3 days @ £240 (£720)
Timeline: 4th-6th November
And at least 2 remote meetings with the set designer.
Lighting rental budget: £250
Timings and days can be discussed with the producer.
Location: Bradford
