Bristol Beacon
Job Summary
Job Description
Volunteer & Training Coordinator, Part-Time, 18.75 Hours, Salary £28,000.00 per annum (£14,189.19 pro rata)
Bristol Beacon is the South West’s largest concert hall, promoting musical excellence, creative learning, and community engagement. Our newly refurbished concert halls and Music Education Centre are central to our mission of uniting people through the joy of live music.
We are looking for a warm, organised and community-minded coordinator to lead our volunteer and trainee programmes, supporting an exciting new 2.5-year creative arts initiative designed to reduce loneliness and build connected, thriving communities across the West of England.
You’ll recruit, induct and support volunteers and trainees, helping shape meaningful roles within a wide range of creative activities. Working closely with our Community, People, Marketing and Production teams, you’ll schedule training, coordinate placements, ensure smooth-running sessions, and be a friendly, supportive presence for everyone involved.
If you’re passionate about inclusion, creativity and community impact, and thrive on building relationships across diverse groups, including disabled young people and global majority elders, we’d love to hear from you
We particularly encourage and support applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
