Visitor Services Manager – Front of House

You will lead the day-to-day delivery of outstanding Front of House service across all public-facing operations, ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed, safe and supported. Working alongside the Head of Visitor Services, Senior Visitor Services Manager and FOH/Box Office leadership team, you will manage Duty Managers, FOH Supervisors and Assistants, championing excellence in customer experience and live-event operations.

In this key operational role, you will act as Duty Manager for concerts, events and conferences, ensuring smooth, safe and efficient delivery. You will also play a vital part in the organisation’s Health & Safety, Access and EDI working groups from an operational perspective.

The Person:

This role is ideal for an experienced operational manager with a passion for live events and exceptional visitor experience.

You will bring:

• Significant experience managing teams in a venue, arts centre, events space or similar public-facing environment
• Strong knowledge of arts or corporate event operations
• A proven commitment to high-quality customer service
• Excellent communication skills and confidence leading teams in live environments
• Strong organisational ability, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
• A flexible, collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements for public venues

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
