Job Description
Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus are looking for a videographer to film a live performance at Brighton Dome on Saturday 13th December.
We need dynamic footage (with sound) in 4K or 1080p.
We require 2 to 3 camera coverage – one in a static wide shot of the full stage and one/two to roam for mid and close-up shots.
The show will contain group numbers, solos and theatrical performances, so videography will need to be reactive and adaptive.
A full running order and script can be provided ahead of time. The videographer should attend our technical rehearsal in the afternoon ahead of the show to plan their shoot.
Estimated hours –
Planning – 2.5 hour technical rehearsal (Usually 2pm)
Filming – 3 hour show (including interval) (7:30pm show, doors open 6:45pm)
Plus set up time and downtime between rehearsal and show.
Please note that we are a registered charity with a limited budget.
Job Requirements
The professional would need to have –
- Live performance filming experience
- High quality cameras and audio recording equipment
- Ability to film with changing stage lighting
