The role is initially 1 day/week for a contract of 3 months with the possibility of extension. The rate is £150/day. Deadline to apply: Sun 10 Aug 2025 (EOD). Start date: Mon 18 Aug 2025.

We are looking for someone to support our work by creating engaging, fun, informative and interesting video content across our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn). This will include editing video interviews, and creating TikToks and reels, including creating any ad/brand sponsorship content. There will be lots of opportunity for you to come up with your own ideas and set the tone and vibe of our video content. Where possible, we will support with access to events and festivals. We’re much less interested in formal education or and more in your creativity, ideas and passion for the work.

What is Short Stuff?

Short Stuff is an independent publication providing dedicated coverage of short films. We publish short film news, cast and crew interviews, reviews and criticism, analysis and essays, festival coverage, and anything else related to short film. We believe that short film is undervalued and underfunded, and that the gap in coverage means we’re missing out on hearing about exciting filmmakers and work that is often made by and about racialised and marginalised communities.
