Job Summary

His Majesty’s Theatre is looking for an individual to join the venue technician team. In the role you will carry out a wide range of electrical projects and general maintenance works, to help maintain and future proof the venue.

Salary & Hours:

£21.73 per hour

Hours of Work: 40 Hours over 5 days, usually Monday – Friday

Job Requirements

What we need…

Electrics:

A recognised electrical qualification such as C&G 2330, 2365 etc.

Knowledge & experience of In-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT testing)

Knowledge and experience of electrical installation in a commercial & industrial environment.

Knowledge and experience of inspection and testing. A City and Guilds 2395 is ideal.

Maintenance:

Good working knowledge of the Health & Safety requirements associated with building maintenance.

The ability to build positive working relationships.

Proven ability to successfully balance a busy workload and work under pressure.

Ability to work either as part of a team or independently.

Willingness to challenge existing working methods and to recommend new working practices.

Knowledge of Construction and Design Management 2015.

A working knowledge of Technical Standards for Places of Entertainment.
