Link Learning Communities CIC is seeking new Trustees (Non-Executive Directors) to help shape the future of our organisation. We work with schools, communities and cultural partners across Sheffield to create long-term opportunities for children to develop creativity, confidence and creative problem-solving skills. As we enter an exciting period of growth, we are looking for individuals who can provide strategic oversight, professional expertise and a shared commitment to improving opportunities for young people.

Our work includes after-school arts programmes, community-based creative projects, heritage and photography initiatives, public exhibitions, Homework Club provision, and music technology projects delivered in partnership with organisations including Sheffield Archives and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

We are particularly interested in recruiting trustees who can help us strengthen our governance, build new partnerships, support financial sustainability and contribute to the organisation’s long-term strategic development.

Responsibilities

As a Trustee, you will:

Help shape the strategic direction and future development of the organisation.

Provide oversight and constructive challenge

Attend and contribute to quarterly board meetings.

Support the monitoring of organisational performance, finances, safeguarding and risk management.

Act as an ambassador for Link Learning Communities CIC and help strengthen relationships with schools, communities, funders and partner organisations.

Share professional expertise, advice and connections that may support the organisation’s growth and impact.

Champion the organisation’s commitment to creativity, inclusion and opportunities for children and young people.

Job Requirements
