Job Summary

Hay Festival Foundation Ltd. (HFF) is a nationally and internationally recognised charity, founded in Hay on Wye, Wales 39 years ago, which operates in the UK and abroad. We are seeking dynamic new trustees to join our board.

Job Description

We are looking for trustees with an interest in and passion for creativity and arts; and wider subject matter that could incorporate science, politics, environmental sustainability, nature and history. In addition, expert knowledge is sought, to support the strategic direction of this organisation and the next exciting phase of development in Wales, UK and globally.

HFF is committed to representing the experiences and identities of staff, volunteers and the diverse communities they serve across the organisation and especially at Board level and welcomes applications of interest from people representative of all communities and experiences.

Job Requirements

We are particularly keen to hear from you if you have an interest in this role and can bring strategic experience in any of the following areas:

International experience within cultural or creative sectors

Digital production and media expertise

Fund development and high-net-worth access

Capital project and infrastructure development

We are especially interested to engage candidates who have a strong connection to the core purpose of Hay Festival, and who are willing to open their networks to HFF. First time trustees with the relevant skills and commitment will be welcomed and supported to develop in this non-executive role.
