The Oxford School of Drama is looking for up to 3 new trustees to join us in shaping the future of our world-leading conservatoire.

Job Description

This is an opportunity to see behind the scenes of one of the finest drama schools in the UK, and to shape its future. You’ll be sharing your expertise with, and learning from fellow Trustees, working with our exceptionally talented staff and most importantly, contributing to our students’ futures

The School continues to evolve and adapt to a fast-changing economic, social and cultural environment. This is an exciting time of development at the School with a refreshed curriculum and the potential for growth and development with new academic partners on the horizon.

We ask that you dedicate the time and effort required to fully participate as a Trustee. This includes meeting four times a year either in Oxford, London, or virtually, as well as participating in working groups and watching School activities.

We will provide full support and training for new Trustees and welcome interest from people with little or no experience as a Trustee.

Job Requirements

We welcome applications from anyone who believes they can make a strong contribution to the continued growth and development of the School, including those with skills in and experience of any of the following areas –

  • Estates Development,
  • Capital Projects including fundraising,
  • People Development and
  • Legal matters in the Charity Sector.

We are keen to receive applications from younger people aged under 40, and from those with a wide range of life experiences.
