The Albany Theatre, Coventry, is entering an exciting new chapter. With a 600 seat main house, two studio theatres, flexible creative spaces and a vibrant foyer stage, we are a busy, ambitious venue powered by a small, dedicated team and an incredible group of volunteers. Our mission is simple but powerful: to promote well being through Arts for Life, with creativity at the heart of everything we do.

We are passionate about developing new talent. Alongside our existing apprenticeships, we are preparing to launch a new BTEC in Technical Theatre with Coventry College from September this year.

After nine successful years, our current Technical & Production Manager is moving on-so we are seeking someone exceptional to take the lead and help shape the future of technical theatre at The Albany.

Could this be you?

We’re looking for an experienced, hands on technical professional who can:

• deliver high quality lighting and sound designs
• lead or support the design of our growing programme of in house productions
• inspire and develop a young, talented team while engaging our technical volunteers
• make the most of limited resources with imagination, resilience and confidence
• bring passion, positivity and a genuine love for technical theatre

Salary. £37-£45k p.a.
