Tender Specification: Bid Development & Strategic Consultancy Services for UK Town of Culture 2028

Made With Many

Job Summary

Can you write a winning bid to make Corby the UK Town of Culture in 2028?

Job Description

Corby Town Council requires an experienced bid writer or consultancy to draft, refine and complete the full application, drawing together the data baseline, narrative, governance and evaluation framework, and to work closely with the public consultation process that underpins it. The appointed consultant will also support Corby’s response to the £250,000 opportunity available to places that are not selected for the full award, and will provide continued support through to the UK Town of Culture selection panel’s visit to Corby, anticipated in early 2027.

Importantly, this work should not be treated only as preparation for a competition entry. The consultancy is also expected to help establish a development strand for Corby’s cultural sector – a strand of activity and capacity-building that continues regardless of whether Corby is awarded UK Town of Culture status, and that can help attract the £250,000 of match funding and additional support needed if the bid progresses.
