Job Summary

We are seeking a Sound Technician to join our technical team. The role focuses on sound but also involves lighting, stage management, and flying. Candidates should have knowledge of technical theatre, experience with digital consoles and networking, and ability to rig and cable small-medium set ups.

Job Description

To assist in the facilitation of technical operations, and performances and events at Harlow Playhouse.
To assist and design as required on all events and performances at the Playhouse.
To maintain relevant performance, rehearsal and public areas in good working order in line with pre-agreed procedures.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
* GCSE English and Maths Grade A-C or minimum Level 4 or equivalent.
* Experience of theatre sound, and one of the following: Lighting; stage management; or stage flying.
* Flexible with working hours
* Physical work – some heavy lifting and working at heights.
* Basic DBS check
* Calm under pressure
* Willing and able to learn and develop new skills
