Birmingham Museums Trust
Job Summary
Job Description
£28,704 per annum
37 hours per week
Birmingham Museums Trust is more than a collection of buildings and objects. We are the guardians of a world-class collection, and active contributors of social change. As the largest independent trust in the UK, we care for over one million objects, stored, and displayed in nine unique and historic venues, including six listed buildings.
The role involves all aspects of technical support and provision for Birmingham Museums Trust (BMT) and its external clients and partners. This includes exhibition construction, installation and maintenance, collection transportation and assistance with collection care and conservation activities of the section. The role is primarily based at BMAG but also involves technical provision and support at the historic properties and collections centre within the trust’s portfolio of sites. The technical team works with colleagues across the organisation to ensure our collections are safe and beautifully presented at all time.
