Technical Space Designer – Immersive Experience Project

About the Role

We are looking for a Space Designer who can both design immersive environments and develop clear, buildable drawings, working closely with the creative lead throughout the project.

This role focuses on spatial design, layout development, and visual expression, while also considering materials, fabrication methods, and on-site installation needs.

You do not need to be a senior technical expert, but you should be comfortable turning ideas into drawings, models, and visuals that can be built in the real world.

What You’ll Do
Design themed spaces, layouts, and spatial sequences
Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and basic construction drawings
Create 3D models and spatial renderings to communicate atmosphere and key viewpoints
Support material selection and basic fabrication logic
Work with China-based fabrication and installation teams (directly or remotely)
Assist with on-site adjustments and problem-solving during installation

What We’re Looking For

• Background in spatial design, exhibition design, interior design, stage design, or themed environments

• Ability to both design spaces and produce clear drawings / models

• Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Blender, or similar

• General understanding of materials, making, and installation processes

• Interest in immersive, interactive, and story-driven spaces

• Comfort working in a small, collaborative team is a plus

Fee and Time :

£2,500-£2,800 per month, project-based (2-3 months), negotiable based on experience. Remote / Hybrid – Implementation in China
