Job Description
The Tech Swing will work alongside the Sound, Lighting and Video departments and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and execution of the production.
Production Dates:
Start Date: 4th November
Tech: 10th November -14th November Dress: 14th November
Previews: 15th November – Tuesday 25th November (Tues – Sun)
Opening Night: 26th November
Shows: 27th November – 22nd February (Tues – Sun)
All dates are subject to change
Job Responsibilities
- To deputise for the Head of Sound and the Head of Video & Lighting when required.
- To ensure all video, lighting and sound equipment is maintained and fully operational for every performance
- To, in conjunction with the Head of Sound and the Head of Video & Lighting perform pre-show rig checks across multiple spaces, replacing and maintaining lamps and sound equipment as required.
- To take on departmental show operation responsibility as required
- To learn and cover the live mix of the show
- To learn and cover LX tracks for the show
- To provide troubleshooting and immediate resolution of any technical issues with technical equipment during performances, including emergency calls in the event of equipment failure or other incident.
- To execute any and all other duties required of a tech swing
