Job Description
To be a proactive member of the tour technical team, supporting the LX, Sound and Stage Management teams in particular
To assist with the LX and sound rigs as required during the load ins and then with the load outs at each venue.
To assist the technical and stage management teams with the running of the production, covering technical stage management scene change tracks, resets/pre show checks, scenic maintenance, and the same with props and furniture. Supporting the load-ins and load-outs as required and working with venue crew.
To help ensure all that all stage areas are kept in a tidy and secure manner and that the company H&S policy and show Risk Assessments are fully adhered to
Any other reasonable duty that would normally fall within the remit of a Tech Swing based on industry norms and practice relating to both rehearsal and performance of the production
Job Requirements
Personal Attributes: We are looking for applicants with all round technical experience. The role requires someone who has a calm and practical approach to technical troubleshooting and the ability to work well in high pressure environments. Last minute cast changes are normal on this production, so applicants must be able to adapt quickly
