Job Summary

The RSC is looking for a Swing Dresser to join the team at Matilda The Musical in London. The appointed candidate would ideally start in October 2025.

Job Description

All applicants must have a strong working knowledge of good theatre practice, as well as experience of working in a professional wardrobe department. Previous West End experience is highly desirable, as are basic sewing skills and a knowledge and understanding of costume-related disciplines.

This position is offered as 12-month fixed term contract, working Tuesday – Saturday (7 shows per week including matinees).

An enhanced DBS check is required for all dressers at Matilda The Musical.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Thursday 25 September 2025

Interviews are expected to take place in w/c 30 September 2025.
