About the role:
This role sits at the heart of our commitment to the National Plan for Music Education, ensuring music remains accessible, engaging and inclusive for all learners.
Working closely with the Curriculum Manager, you will support the management and delivery of the Southwark Music Curriculum Partnership Programme, overseeing tutors and schools to ensure consistent, high-quality provision.
A key focus of the role will be managing and developing music education for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and SEND provision, acting as the primary point of contact for tutors and schools in these areas.
Additional information:
- This is a 7-month fixed-term, part-time position (3 days per week, term time only).
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
- Salary: £41,580 – £47,628 (Pro rata for part time staff)

Job Requirements
About you:
You will be passionate about the power of music to inspire, include and transform the lives of young people. With strong communication and organisational skills, you will be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders, from schools and tutors to children and their families.
Ideally, you’ll bring experience in music education, particularly with EYFS and SEND provision and a commitment to delivering inclusive and creative learning opportunities.
You’ll also be proactive, flexible and collaborative and able to manage projects while inspiring others to achieve excellence.
