Job Summary
To work directly with Shirazeh Houshiary and be in charge of running the day to day workings of the studio and its maintenance, while also working on longer term projects.
Job Description
We are looking for someone with practical and computer proficiency, to be extremely well organised and able to manage deadlines and workloads efficiently.
Essential Skills:
- Fluent spoken English and excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong practical understanding of making processes (model making, painting, sculpture)
- High level of technical understanding installing artworks
- Technician experience
- Very good sense of timing and organisational skills
- Ability to easily communicate with suppliers/ galleries and sub contractors
- Self initiative to manage own schedule
- Ability to manage a wide range of tasks that change daily
Preferred Skills:
- A good understanding of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- A basic/ good understanding of 3D modelling and rendering
- Experience of project managing installations
Work hours: 2 days a week, 9am to 6pm
Salary: based on applicants previous experience
