Job Summary
Studio Assistant to Contemporary Sculptor Sandra Shashou. SCULPTURE GRADUATE. Flexible freelance work, 1–2 days per week as required. Experience with sculpture, casting, Jesmonite, Resin, mould making, screwing art work to threaded rods securely. Patience and tidy with glueing porcelain parts.
Job Description
I am looking for a fabricator sort of person to help me make my art works. The role requires assisting with castigating, making Jesmonite Plinths, cutting metal rods, experience in securing artworks to metal rods, painting the sculpture with resin. Assisting in the creations along side the artist. A tidy and skilful workers that is relatable and on time. Paid £15 -£18 per hour depending on experience.
Job Requirements
Assisting in every part of making. Sticking the porcelain together with glue, painting porcelain roses, covering polystyrene shapes in Jesmonite.
